A message from the Principal

At Nagle Community College, we are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every student is encouraged to thrive — academically, socially, and emotionally. Guided by the values of respect, care, and equality, we strive to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

As I complete 2025/2026 school year as Principal, I am proud to lead a school that places student wellbeing, learning, and positive relationships at the centre of all we do. I am supported by a team of 40 teachers , SNAs , and ancillary staff , together with Deputy Principal Mr Nicholas O’Keefe, whose experience and leadership play an important role in the daily life of the school.

We continue to focus on the growth of our school community, with new opportunities emerging for students in both subject choice and learning supports. Our aim is to provide a broad, responsive, and engaging curriculum that meets the needs and interests of all learners. We are proud to be a droichead school for NQTs and delighted to be introducing Leaving Certificate Applied for the 2026/2027 school year.

Education at Nagle is a collaborative effort, and we value the strong partnerships we share with parents, families, and the wider Mahon community. Together, we support young people to grow in confidence, develop their skills, and prepare for a positive future.

We are proud of the diverse and vibrant community that makes up our school, where students from many backgrounds come together to learn, contribute, and thrive.
