Next Sunday 9th February, 2025, is World Day of the Sick.
On that day we are holding a special Mass at 12.15 p.m in our church in Mahon.
During the Mass it will be possible for attendees – those who are ill, experiencing chronic illness, or suffering the ongoing debilitating effects of aging - to receive the Sacrament or Healing Anointing of the Sick.
It will also be an opportunity for those who are caring for the sick (nursing staff, family carers) to come and join in praying for the sick.
This event is open to our family of parishes (i.e. Ballinlough, Mahon, Blackrock and Blackrock Road parishes).
